Pile-Up Ends Season

The 2006 race season has most likely ended for the 12p crew. An unavoidable 5 car pile up at THill Saturday night on a restart has left the car's front-end frame in bad shape.

A Weekend Off...

The 12p racing team took a break from the race track this weekend.

Lakeside did not hold regular races due to a special Sprint Car race weekend. Thunderhill races for Saturday night were postponed to Sunday afternoon due to much needed rain. The crew already had plans for Sunday afternoon, so they did not head to the race track.

A rough heat race found Jeff running the B feature tonight. He finished the B strong in 2nd place.

Starting 21st in the A, he raced to a 12th place finish. The race only had one caution - lap 21 - so Jeff was unaware of any problems that an early race bump with the 810 car and a bump into the turn 2 tire marker may have caused. After the race, he found a broken left front-end mount, damaged shock, and ruined spring.

Jeff was one of the featured drives in the Lakeside Program tonight.

Passing Cars All the Way...

Jeff found himself in the Turn 2 wall in his heat race and had to leave the track, finishing 8th. Thanks to a hard working pit crew, the car was fixed just in time to start 23rd in the A Main.

Once again Jeff worked his way through traffic and avoided cautions to finish at the front of the pack. He posted an impressive 5th place finish.

Great Race at T-Hill

Jeff posted a 3rd place finish tonight in an exciting race. He started in the 5th row position and took advantage of several caution restarts to move up the field and battle for 2/3 place.

Jeff has moved up the the 4th spot in points at Thunderhill.

Top 10 Again at Lakeside

Jeff continued his strong runs at Lakeside tonight, finishing 10th after starting in the 18th position. He has moved up the the 14th spot in points.

Victory Lane!!

Jeff took 1st in the 2nd heat of the night. A draw for a 5 row invert moved him to the 5th row inside starting lineup for the A Feature. Jeff quickly moved to the top 4 at the start of the race and took over the lead with 12 laps to go.

This is Jeff's first victory at Thunderhill! Way to go HotRod Herbie!

4th place finish at Lakeside

A 7th place finish in the 3rd heat tonight found Jeff starting 19th in the A feature of 26 cars tonight.

Jeff found the high side of the track and quickly worked his way towards the front of the pack, posting a 4th place finish at Lakeside -- his best yet!

After knocking down a rear left tire last week from a bump into the wall, Jeff found himself race to a convincing 1st place finish in heat 1 tonight.

Started 10th in the A, ran a great race to finish 7th.

Another strong finish has put Jeff into the "Top 20" in points in Lakeside at 19th.

Thunderhill results 7-1-06

Jeff finished 7th in his heat tonight after having to leave the track due to a stuck throttle.

Finshed 3rd out of 10 cars in the B feature.

Started 21 in the A feature and navigated through the pack to a strong 11th place finish.

Jeff is currently 9th in points at Thunderhill for the season.

Tough luck at Lakeside 6-30

Jeff found himself starting the A Feature on the pole tonight for the first time this season at Lakeside.

He transferred directly to the A from his heat race and because of his 11th place finish last week and the rules for lining up the top 12 cars at Lakeside from the previous weeks results he earned this top spot.

A bump into the 4th turn wall on lap 12 knocked down his left rear tire forcing him to leave the race. He finished 21st for the night.

2nd place finish at T-Hill

Jeff raced to a 2nd place finish at Thunderhill June 24 after starting in the 3rd row outside position. Rain delays started the night off slow...but it was FAST by the time the features rolled around!

June 23 Race Night at Lakeside

Jeff again ran to a convincing 1st place finish in heat #4 tonight with Davis & O'Neal behind him.

Started 6th row outside in the A and finished 11th. The Top 10 saw a loaded list of drivers tonight.

Great Heat Race - Feature Rained Out!

Friday night at Lakeside - broke driveshaft in Heat Race. Did not get fixed for Feature Start.

Saturday night at Thunderhill - finished 1st in Heat 1. Rain moved in and canceled the rest of the show.

6th place run at Lakeside 6-9

Jeff finished 1st by a large margin in the first of three heats tonight with Taylor, Charles, and Karrick behind him.

He started the A main at the 5th row inside position and ran to a terrific 6th place finish.
